Drumstick: Your Go-To Chicken Shop in Battle Creek

As an out of town visitor to the Drumstick restaurant, let me just say that...THE CHICKEN WAS SUPERB!!!! I was impressed by the fact that the chicken was cooked to perfection, and the french fries were prepared fresh as opposed to being premade. My only critique would be for the owners to PLEASE add "RedHot" Hot sauce as an additional spice-sauce because I wasn't a fan of the restaurant's hot sauce which tasted more like a Mexican SALSA than an actual hot sauce for fried chicken. RedHot hot sauce is a VERY POPULAR hot sauce that people of ALL races enjoy on their fried chicken! Unfortunately, we had to drive to a convenience store nearby to purchase a small bottle of RedHot hot sauce...but the chicken could still stand in its own without it. Other than that, I would recommend it to anyone who wants delicious fried chicken to stop by Drumstick in Battle Creek Michigan!

I had to wait a little bit, but they made up for it. Ran out of mac and cheese, but they made up for that too. I ordered an ice cream sundae for the wait. I took a picture. I'll figure out how to pay it, but It was very customized. Hand dip black cherry, pb and chocolate, salty caramel truffle, strawberry juice, hot fudge, and whipped cream. Yum!

Ice cream. The young lady who served us was friendly and funny. The ice cream was great. It's an old building, but don't let that stop you.

They had a nice selection of ice cream and cold treats. We had the Chilli dogs. They weren't the greatest but the staff was super friendly and the chicken smelled really good. Next time we stop in we will check out the chicken. There is a small sitting area with three tables right inside the door. And there are picnic tables lined around the outside.

By far better than any other place in battle creek when it comes to the ice cream/shakes/malts or mashed potatoes & gravy... Delicious Chicken to!!! Been a loyal customer for over a decade!!

Okay, so this place doesn't look like much, but give it a shot! You'll be greeted by some of the friendliest faces in Battle Creek. Bring an appetite, especially if you plan on getting ice cream! They're definitely not stingy with their portions and the prices are more than reasonable!

This place is the definition of a hole in the wall joint! Atmosphere and service were terrible but the food was amazing! We had the 8 piece family pack with baked beans and Mac and Cheese! The fried chicken is the best in town, hands down! This is gonna be my new spot for dinner when I don't want to cook! Don't judge this book by its cover, just go and enjoy!

This place has been in business for 40 yrs so far ! Same ownership!! Yummy fish, chicken and ice cream to go. Yesterday I stopped in and invested in an absolutely the best mint shake I think I've Ever had. And I ain't no youngster. Smooth, slightly sweet, light green mint... but not too rich, not too sweet and not too thick to not move through the straw. Perfectly hand made shake. Cold and satisfying enough, w/o getting brain freeze. Couldn't have been made better !!! It's not a dine in place, it's a get great tasting food and enjoy it wherever you are going next kinda place. Deep fried and awesome ice creams! Go there!
